To date I have chosen to concentrate on only to paintings during this period. I have others that I am always developing, some are on canvas, some are simply rough drawings. I always wait to visually hear what to paint. There is no purpose except to Glorify the Father by Honoring His Son. There is no monetary direction, no audience, no other motive. The two paintings I have completed are The Young Mary’s Pondering Dream. This is a piece about Mary, the Mother of Jesus as a young woman prior to her visitation from Gabriel. You enter her dream of bliss as she is surrounded by the symbolism of sheep as you and I, waiting for our good Shepherd. The symbolism of doves encompasses her as symbols of eternity touching our reality. In the painting Angels Pondering the Baptism of the Christ we witness Jesus as the Christ holding together that which is eternal (angels) with that which is human (you and I).
