Students glean from this lesson the importance of a signature and are shown how to create a well designed signature-symbol of how they think of themselves. This lesson also comes with a second lesson showing how students can create a modern piece of art using their newly discovered signature.
The signature of self esteem is a popular lesson plan for high school students as they establish their signature. This lesson guides a student through the importance of a great signature and how it symbolically represents who they are and who they desire to become. It demonstrates how to create a great signature and comes with worksheets to allow them to practice. Each student then takes their new signature and creates a modern work of art out of it. This lesson can easily serve as two class periods.
